Wound Simulation
This was one of the most elaborate projects we’ve undertaken. We teamed up with a medical simulation team of engineers and industrial designers to prototype and fabricate an eleven piece flesh wound assembly for various training simulations. These wounds can be used for proper identification of wound stages, along with simulating cleaning and dressing of wounds. The individual parts have temperature sensitive cast silicone so nurses can learn from simulated skin blanching and artificial fluidics that pump through the assembly for bandaging simulation.
